Cleantech America, Inc. Board Member Ray Laroca is a former partner at the law firm of Morrison & Foerster. He has extensive experience representing clients in regards to the siting, permitting and financing of energy facilities and other major development and infrastructure projects. Over the years, Mr. Laroca worked with numerous clients in the alternative/renewable energy field, including Freeport-McMoran, in connection with the firm's geothermal operations in Lake County, Calif., GWF Power Systems Co., Inc., in connection with the development of several alternative energy facilities in the Bay Area and San Joaquin Valley, and CalEnergy in regard to its geothermal facilities in California.

Mr. Laroca is a graduate of Tulane University (B.A.) and the University of California, Hastings College of the Law (J.D., cum laude). He was an editor of the Hastings Law Review and an extern for the California Supreme Court. Mr. Laroca is the author of "Controversial Projects-Case Studies and Practical Pointers" presented at the CLE International Seminar on Purchasing and Developing Problem Properties: Environmental and Land Use Issues.
