Cleantech America, Inc. Board Member Dan Richard is the former Senior Vice President for Public Policy and Government Relations for both PG&E Corp. and Pacific Gas and Electric Co. While with PG&E, he oversaw the company's government relations, state and Federal regulatory relations, communications and community relations programs. He was part of the senior management team which guided the company through the energy crisis and its financial reorganization.

Between 1992 and 2004, Mr. Richard was also an elected director of the Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART), leading efforts to secure $4 billion of capital programs for system rehabilitation, expansion to the San Francisco Airport and seismic retrofit.
